Directly below is a list of qualifications that are desired for all positions in our company.  Any open positions we have available will be posted following the minimum qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

-At least 18 years of age or older
-Legally eligible to work in the United States
-Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
-Ability to follow oral and written instructions.  Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees
-Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds 50 feet without assistance and be able to stand for long periods of time

-At least 1 year of experience working in Landscaping or similar work.

Pond Service Specialist

National Pond Service is seeking fun, self-motivated individuals with a love for working outdoors to provide manual pond cleanouts, maintenance, repair and replacement services for clients with water features and biological treatment services for customers who own larger ponds.

Pond Service Specialists are responsible for arriving to a client’s pond on time and dressed in an appropriate manner for the conditions to be worked in.  Pond Service Specialists are responsible for properly completing service work, maintaining a clean appearance and submitting service work information to billing.

Job specific requirements include:

-1 (one) year experience working in landscaping, fisheries management and/or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Ability to supply own transportation (pick-up truck preferred), ratchet set, screw drivers, scissors, work gloves, retractable blade knife, tape measure, calculator, shovel, hard rake and cell phone (for job support or in case of emergency)
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
-Other required knowledge, skills and abilities include: Customer Service/Relations, Organization, Handling multiple tasks, Flexibility, Adaptability and Teamwork
